At Gardoo we are committed to customer service and support to ensure your complete satisfaction.  We guarantee to send you top quality products, quality inspected and well packed to reach you in perfect condition.

By committing to purchase goods via the Gardoo website, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with us on the Terms and Conditions listed below. 

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 

Delivery Terms

 

How will my order be delivered and do I need help?

 

Delivery is kerbside only or the nearest safe point to the address.

 

Customers should have a minimum of 2 people at the delivery address to assist the driver in unloading all sleepers and timber orders by hand, each delivery is allocated 30 minutes for unloading.  where possible the driver will unload with a pallet truck via the tail lift to a level and safe area nearest to kerb side or, the driver will not be responsible for delivering beyond this point.

 

 

Your Order will be delivered on pallet/s. The delivery vehicle is not fitted with a crane or winch. Please be aware that the driver will not be able to lift your orders over walls or fences or up steps, slopes, etc.

 

Delivery Dates

 

All delivery dates given or chosen when placing your order are not binding and do not form any part of a contract between us.

We will endeavour always to meet you requested delivery dates, but due to unforeseen circumstances or matters beyond our control, we will NOT be liable to the customer for any costs or compensation due to a missed deliver date. All orders are placed on the acceptance of these terms.

 

Delivery Times and options

 

Next day and economy deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, we are unable to provide any times of delivery and customers should be available to take delivery during these times on the day of delivery, drivers are asked to call you on the number provided 1 hour before delivery but this is not guaranteed or forms any part of the contract of sale.

Pre 10am and Saturday Morning deliveries are available at extra cost, please e-mail for costs, but this is not a guaranteed service.

 

Delivery Location and vehicle size

 

Gardoo will only deliver to the address you specify on your order. It is therefore vital that this address is accurate. Gardoo cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your order once it has been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.

 

When considering access, please consider width restrictions, parked cars, trees, low bridges and power lines etc.

 

If your delivery address falls within an area in which it is illegal for our delivery vehicle to park or offload, Gardoo will not be able to make delivery, if you have any concerns regarding how our delivery vehicle can access/unload to your delivery address, please contact us before placing your order

 

Vehicles may be up to 20 tonnes gross weight. Vehicle dimensions will be a maximum of 8 metres long by 4 metres wide by 5 metres high. If your delivery address does not have sufficient access, Gardoo will not be able to make your delivery.

 

What If I am not in?

If delivery is attempted and you are not available to except the delivery we reserve the right to charge a re-delivery charge and storage if necessary until delivery can be rearranged.

 

Returns and Damaged Goods

 

Damaged goods or wrongly delivered orders should be noted on the delivery ticket and our office informed within 24 hours. Sleepers are a natural product and damage claims will not be entertained for natural blemishes such as splits, knots and bark. Agreed claims will be handled on a case by case basis.

 

Incorrectly ordered goods by customer may be returned undamaged at our discretion but a re-delivery and handling charge will be applied and notified to you at the time.

We do not except return of goods damaged after delivery.

 

 

 

Changing / Cancelling Your Order

What if I want to change my order?

For orders on Next Working Day Delivery and for Saturday deliveries, changes must be made before 12 Noon (Midday) on the last working day before your delivery due date (i.e. for Monday deliveries, you must notify us before 12 Noon (Midday) on the preceding Friday).

All changes must be made by contacting our Customer Services team on customer.service@gardoo.co.uk.  Please note that changes made after this point may be possible but may incur a charge.

 

What if I want to cancel my order?

For orders on Next Working Day Delivery and for Saturday deliveries, cancellations must be made before 12 Noon (Midday) on the last working day before your delivery due date (i.e. for Monday deliveries, you must notify us before 12 Noon (Midday) on the preceding Friday).

All cancellations must be made by contacting our Customer Services team on customer.service@gardoo.co.uk.  Please note that there may be a charge to refund your card.  Items which are cancelled after leaving our depot will incur a restock charge, which can be the full cost of haulage paid.

 

 

Basis of Sale

Gardoo commits to adhering to these Terms and Conditions when we accept an order placed by you via our website.  The description of the Goods, the price, VAT and delivery costs are set out in the checkout page where you place your order. 

Once an order is placed, we will automatically create you an account and confirm acceptance of your order on screen as well as by email.

 

Details of Order

Everything you order from us will be exactly as set out on the your check out page.  The quality, quantity and description of the goods will be exactly as your order.

Gardoo only accepts orders if your credit card or debit card/account is authorised for the transaction.  Orders are also only accepted if the Goods are available, either in-stock or on back order.

 

Price of Goods

All prices on the Gardoo website include VAT at the prevailing rate.  Because prices and product descriptions vary from time to time, we reserve the right to change them without further notice.

The price of the Goods and Delivery you see on the Gardoo website are exactly what you will pay.

 

Payment Terms

Gardoo will charge your credit card or debit card/account upon completion of your order.  We do not accept cheques, postal orders or cash when ordering online.

Cash, cheques, postal orders, debit and credit cards can all be accepted if you visit and purchase from our warehouse counter in person.

If it is not possible to obtain full payment of the Goods ordered, Gardoo will not proceed or process the order.

Gardoo operates a safe payment site and takes every reasonable care to keep all information connected with your order safe and secure.  Unless solely due to our negligence, Gardoo cannot be held liable for any loss that you may suffer if a third party obtains any unauthorised access to any data.  This includes any account or credit data that you provide when accessing or ordering from this website.

 

Data Protection

We do not store or retain any credit / debit card details. Nor do we share any personal information or data with third party companies.

 

Risk and Ownership

Risk of damage or loss of the Goods passes to you at the time of delivery or if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time – the time when we tried to deliver.

Upon delivery, you must check your order and report any missing / damaged items on the proof of delivery you sign and hand to the driver.  You must also report this by contacting our office within 24 hours of signing this.

You will only own the Goods once they are successfully delivered to you.

 

Warranties

Gardoo aims to consistently supply high quality products to our customers.  Accordingly, we warrant that where goods are own brand products and not already covered by a manufacturer’s guarantee, they will meet their specification and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery.

 

Liability

If you have a valid claim in respect of Goods which is based on any defect in their quality and condition or their failure to meet specification as per the order, and you have notified us in the method and timeframe as per our terms (see Risk and Ownership), you will be entitled to a refund of the price of the Goods or replacement of the Goods free of delivery charge.

Gardoo will make every commercial endeavour to keep this website up to date.  We will strive to continually improve and to add to our business offering.

Information and specifications on the Gardoo website are given for guidance only.  We reserve the rights to change them without further notice.

 

Matters out of Gardoo's Control

Sometimes things happen that are out of our control, likes acts of God.  We will not be liable to you or in breach of contract for delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
