Smooth edges for a softer finish.
FSC® certified timber. Pressure treated with Tanalith E for a longer life (for details of this treatment, please see 'Specification' below).
Planed and bevelled sleepers, also referred to as planed all round (PAR), have been processed to achieve a smoother surface, with the square edges bevelled to create a sloping edge. Virtually splinter free, these sleepers are the perfect choice for children’s play areas, schools, parks and for creating benches and outdoor furniture.
These beautiful sleepers will add character and warmth to any space.
Incredibly versatile, Gardoo's sleepers have a huge range of uses, both practical and decorative.
Looking for ideas for unique garden furniture? Sleepers make attractive, simple and novel outdoor seats, garden benches and tables. You can also use garden sleepers to build decking and to create stunning pergolas, garden arches and arbours to bring another dimension to your garden or to create shaded seating areas. By using sleepers to create a pergola as an extension of your home, you can very easily achieve that wonderful feeling of bringing the outdoors in, by extending your living space with a sheltered outdoor seating/dining area.
Sleepers also look wonderful as edging for vegetable gardens, parterres, patios, paths and driveways. Steps can be created very simply with sleepers, as can raised beds and retaining walls. Or get creative and use our sleepers to design a themed garden or to make garden sculptures.
The possibilities really are endless, what will you create?!
As a natural product, each sleeper is unique. This means that there may be colour variations, splits, knots and wanes.
Due to the finishing process of Planed & Bevelled (PAR) Sleepers, the finished size of a 200mm x 47mm PAR Sleeper is 196mm x 43mm.
Please note: someone must be available on the day of delivery to assist the driver in offloading sleepers. If you're ordering over 40 sleepers, we ask that you have two people available to assist.
